Our Community Projects
Lymm Sanctuary Hub provides a range of community-led services and activities supporting individuals and families in Lymm, High Legh, Thelwall and Warburton.
Our current projects mostly focus on supporting people living with dementia, parents and carers of children with SEND, helping people with IT issues, and providing counselling and befriending services. Each year we aim to help establish further projects, following engagement with our local community. We also support several partner projects that operate in the local area that promote wellbeing.

Hub Projects
These are projects we set up and operate ourselves.
Partner Projects
These are projects we support with admin, marketing and resources.
How we deliver our services
Our projects are run almost entirely by volunteers, and we regularly work with other local organisations.
National Lottery Community funding in 2023, allowing it to employ three part time members of staff to support the project development and volunteer teams.
We currently have around fifty volunteers who support our community and inspire others to do the same.
We owe a huge debt of thanks to those who have helped projects to take shape. Our trustees and project leaders right through to our wonderful volunteers. We have also been supported by The National Lottery Community Fund, Cheshire Community Foundation, Lymm Parish Council, and donations from a wide range of local organisations, businesses and individuals.
Volunteering
Our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do at the Hub and we couldn’t run our community project groups and activities without them.
Lymm Sanctuary Hub and its community projects are almost 100% volunteer-run.
